A well-known Japanese trading house is currently recruiting a Strategy & Planning Coordinator to work in their Düsseldorf office.
In this role, you will be responsible for organising and overseeing budget/forecast management in Europe, analysing results, and coordinating office services.
The ideal candidate should have at least 2-3 years of management accounting and/or financial accounting experience.
Fluent English and Japanese, and strong Excel skills are required.

Strategy & Planning Coordinator Main Responsibilities:
● Aggregating budgets, actual results, and forecasts of group entities using budget management system
● Analysing budgets, actual results and forecasts, and preparing documents for reporting
● Supporting for monthly reports submitted by each sales section to Corporate Planning department in Japan
● Communicating with colleagues to improve the accuracy of budgets and forecasts
● Responding to inquiries about budgets, actual results, and forecasts from relevant people from the company
● Understanding mechanisms to allocate administration expenses internally, and calculating the allocated amount to each business section
● Coordinating for document management and delivery at the time of contract renewal
● Covering the job of the colleagues during his/her absence
● Handling other relevant matters determined by CEO

Strategy & Planning Coordinator Ideal Candidate:
● At least 2-3 years of management accounting and/or financial accounting
experience

● Business level of English and Japanese
● Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including formulas and charts
● Good understanding of financial statements
● Holding relevant accounting qualification will be advantageous
● Ability to work to strict deadlines, cooperate effectively with others, and assess, prioritise and manage own workload
