ABOUT THE JOB
(Junior) Buyer Freight Services / Tender Manager (f/m/d)
What's in store for you?
- Support in logistics process optimization and cost-saving projects (within procurement and distribution logistics)
- Setting up and preparing potential analyses for our customers to identify optimization needs
- Support in international freight purchasing for all modes of transport (especially road) and in the negotiation of contracts
- Implementation of tender management with electronic tendering tools and preparation of direct negotiations
- Preparation and evaluation of mass data
- Preparation of RFQs (Request for Quotations), SOPs (Standard Operational Procedures) and support with operational implementations
- Creation of customer presentations
What should you bring with you?
- Completed studies with a focus on transportation and logistics or comparable training
- Experience in purchasing logistics services or tender management (>2 years)
- Very good MS Office skills (Excel and PowerPoint)
- Initial knowledge of freight tendering tools, especially Ticontract desirable
- Good written and spoken English skills
- Independence, commitment and a strong ability to work in a team
- Hands-on mentality
- A good dose of humor
