What you´ll do
- Shape Adhesive Technologies’ sustainability strategy as an experienced Senior Manager by accelerating the adoption of low-emission and renewable materials across the portfolio
- Lead the strategic evaluation and selection of sustainable raw materials (low-emission, circular) within specific technology baskets in close collaboration with purchasing experts and portfolio management teams across end markets
- Develop and execute cross-functional education and enablement programs to strengthen sustainable materials knowledge across the organization as well as product development, marketing, and sales
- Drive proactive engagement with customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies to shape future low-carbon and circular value chains
- Represent Henkel across associations, industry initiatives, customer engagements, and internal bodies to further enhance sustainability expertise, performance, and reputation
What makes you a good fit
- Master’s degree in Sustainability, Business Administration, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in sustainability and/or commercial roles within the chemical industry or consulting, ideally with a strong focus on sustainability-related projects
- Excellent understanding of the complexity of products, technologies, and value chains
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Strategic and analytical mindset combined with strong project management skills and a passion for driving change and challenging the status quo
- Fluent English language skills; good knowledge of German is an advantage
