Your responsibilities
- Expand pipeline of PPA transactions in Germany by developing strong relationships with counterparties and understanding their commercial requirements
- Coverage of other Central European markets in accordance with portfolio growth strategy.
- Originate other types of power transactions (e.g. BESS/Flex) in accordance with Power portfolio strategies
- Develop relationships with owners who have renewable assets under EEG in Germany
- Execute transactions with counterparties, adhering to all internal operational and compliance processes
- Provide market intelligence to Uniper’s power portfolio teams to help define product and portfolio strategy
- Champion constant process improvement to manage high deal flow
Your profile
- Degree in a relevant discipline
- 5+ years of experience in German power markets and understanding of regulatory developments with strong network of relationships with project developers and renewable asset owners
- Familiarity with master enabling agreements, such as EFET, ISDA etc.
- Understanding of risk concepts including credit, market, liquidity and operational risks
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a ‘can do’ attitude
- Strong stakeholder management skills and collaborative way of working
- Fluency in German and English
- Choosing how, where, and when to work in accordance with your team and the requirements of your job
