• Develop Python backend applications using Django, Flask, or FastAPI

• Design and implement AI-powered features, including embeddings, vector search, and semantic search

• Create, maintain, and optimize REST APIs

• Automate backend workflows via Jenkins pipelines

• Optimize SQL databases for performance, reliability, and scalability

• Ensure system stability and high availability

• Collaborate closely with AI, frontend, and product teams in Düsseldorf

• Participate in agile ceremonies, code reviews, and team discussions

• Contribute to initiatives that improve our tech stack and development processes

• Studying Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field

• Python backend experience is a plus

• Knowledge of AI/ML concepts

• Experience with REST API, CI/CD (Jenkins), SQL

• Familiarity with Docker is a bonus

• Git proficiency

• Fluent English (German optional)
