Your responsibilities
- You will help implement Internal Audit’s Data & AI Strategy.
- You help us to embed Data Science based techniques and statistical models to our Internal Audit Data Analytics.
- You will assist in designing, developing, and implementing AI-driven solutions, to enhance audit processes and analytics capabilities.
- You will build programmable dashboards, analyse huge chunks of data, apply statistical techniques to datasets to derive insights on the business.
- You will support in gathering, cleaning and preparing structured and unstructured data for use in AI models and advanced analytics.
- You will be working with the internal audit colleagues as part of our commercial audits to identify and implement use cases, e.g. for risk assessment, pattern analysis and sample testing.
- Engage in Uniper’s Data Community and foster cross-team cooperation.
Your profile
- Pursuing Bachelors or Masters degree in a quantitative field like Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or Energy Sciences.
- Curiosity and belief in the power of AI to improve how we work. If you’ve experimented with LLMs, Agents or NLP before, great — but more important is your motivation to learn and apply AI in real business contexts.Hands-on mindset with data. You enjoy exploring data, experimenting with analytics techniques, and solving problems with a practical, DIY approach. Experience in data science or analytics is great; energy trading knowledge is a plus but not required.
- Comfortable thinking in scripting languages. You naturally approach problems with tools like Python, SQL, or similar technologies and enjoy building small solutions, automations, or prototypes to learn and iterate fast.
- You enjoy working with people and technology, are open and empathetic towards others.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills. You can present and explain technical concepts to non-technical colleagues and grasp the business context as a basis for your data solution.
