Job Offer: Embedded Firmware Developer

Join our growing team in Duisburg as an Embedded Firmware Developer. In this role, you will develop high-quality firmware and low-level software for ASIC and SoC platforms, enabling reliable system functionality and supporting verification and application development.

Job Description:

• Contribute to low level C/C++ development within customer projects
• Communicate with internal and external development partners
• Collaborate in the development, extension, and documentation of low-level software and driver concepts
• Align concepts with cross-line and customer requirements (verification, validation, application development)
• Support requirements engineering for low level software with internal project teams and customers
• Ensure useability of low level software for verification, validation and application development
• Support ASIC validation

Requirements:

• University degree (Dipl.-Ing., M.Sc., or PhD) in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• At least 5+ years of experience in the field of low level software development
• Hands-on experience in firmware and embedded software development, particularly strong with C programming
• Understanding of semiconductors fundamentals and mixed-signal integrated electronics
• Knowledge of RTOS, including bring-up and porting to SoCs for 3rd party application development
• Professional English and German language communication skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and teamwork skills

Good to have skills:

• Basic experience in project management
• Hands-on experience with System Verilog or VHDL
• Basic knowledge of the UVM methodology
