Are you passionate about continuous improvement and quality excellence? As Quality Engineer you will play a key role in driving quality throughout the value chain, by acting as a vital link between production, customers, and processes.
You’ll support the factory by analysing between supplier, manufacturing, and customer claims to implement corrective actions and drive continuous improvement. This role offers the opportunity to make a real impact by ensuring Schindler products meet the highest standards and quality is built into everything we do.

- Supporting production teams by investigating quality issues and defining actions to prevent them from recurring
- Analyzing customer complaints to uncover patterns and drive long-term improvements.
- Monitoring key quality performance indicators and ensuring timely execution of corrective actions
- Leading and supporting structured problem-solving methods (e.g., 8D, SPSP) across departments
- Conducting audits to assess product and process quality
- Updating or reviewing Quality Control Plans and clear work instructions for production teams
- Contributing to strategic projects, including new product development and process optimization initiatives
- Degree in Quality Management Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar qualification
- 3 years of industrial experience, with a solid understanding of manufacturing processes and quality management tools such as PPAP, PFMEA, Quality Audits, 8D, 5S, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with diverse manufacturing techniques, especially related to metal fabrication and/or the machine manufacturing industry
- Good project management experience, with the ability to drive cross-functional initiatives
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and their practical implementation
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and knowledge of SAP QM
- Proficient level of German and English
