About the Trainee Program
Join Omya's Trainee Program within the Material Science Segment and kick-start your career in a global B2B marketing environment. Over the course of 15 months, you will gain comprehensive exposure to minerals and specialty chemicals distribution while collaborating with cross-functional teams in Marketing, Sales, Digital Services, and Technical Services.
The program is designed to give you broad international experience, hands-on marketing skills, and deep insights into the technical and commercial sides of the raw material business for the polymer and construction industries.
Preferred start date: September 1st, 2026 (or earlier if candiate available).

Requirements

• Degree in Marketing & Communication or related fields
• Prior experience in B2B marketing communications, ideally in the industrial or chemical sector
• Beneficial experience in Adobe AEM (content management), Salesforce Marketing Cloud (email/newsletter), and Adobe InDesign / Canva (visual design). Such skills can be learned during the traineeship
• Ability to work both independently and within a multicultural, multilingual team
• Strong attention to detail, especially regarding technical accuracy and conceptual clarity
• Excellent communication skills in English; German is a plus
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally
