Your role and responsibilities
The Global Operations Manager will transform and optimize the company's global operations. This strategic position involves developing and implementing operational strategies to fulfill organization targets, collaborating with the executive team to support business growth, and promoting operational excellence through continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires a consistent focus on efficient production, supply chain management, and collaborating with R&D to ensure cost-effective and innovative solutions.
This position will be responsible for overseeing sourcing, production, logistics, quality, and compliance functions, ensuring seamless supply chain and production processes. This includes enhancing product and service quality to meet customer expectations, overseeing HSE, sustainability, and regulatory compliance, and leveraging technology to enable smart operations.
The Global Operations Manager will also be responsible for financial oversight, cost transparency, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and standards.
Secure right global/regional footprint structures and capacity for growth, including "make or buy” decisions.
The role also involves promoting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, cultivating and attracting skilled team members, and optimizing cost structures and operational efficiency.
The position holder will guide a large operations team, promoting collaboration across divisions and functions to facilitate steady progress. This person will manage stakeholder relationships, ensure organizational effectiveness, and oversee change management initiatives.
Accountable to build an effective, capable and high-performing organization, including talent development, review organizational effectiveness, driving competence assessments and continuous skill-upgrades
Location: The target working location for this position is Eggelsberg, Austria, where the core team is based. Candidates located elsewhere in the European Union may be considered only if they are able to spend a significant amount of time working on-site at the Eggelsberg HQ. Regular physical presence at the headquarters is a key requirement for successful collaboration.

4 direct reporting functional organizations ( Planning, Sourcing, Factory, Projects) and a growing organization underneath.
Position is a key player in the Division Management Team, reporting to the Division President of Machine Automation
Qualifications for the role
The role requires a strategic thinker with advanced analytical skills, capable of crafting and formulating global operational strategies.
Experience of managing a global operations organization, significant global projects- or programs within a well-established manufacturing or automation company.
Experience from automotive or electronics industry is considered a beneficial qualification.
Knowledge of managing an organization under transition focusing on operational excellence, process improvement, and globalization.
Effective leadership and communication skills, capable of problem-solving and driving performance actions effectively, while inspiring a large team and guiding senior stakeholders.
Experience in financial oversight, including budget management and cost transparency.
Devotion to maintaining high-quality standards and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
