QUALIFICATION
Have you been working in a managerial position in the catering, hotel or event management sector for several years and have you learned the tools of your trade through specialist training, a relevant degree or a comparable qualification, ideally supplemented by an additional commercial/business qualification? Do you know what it takes to organize and coordinate an efficient and perfectly harmonized kitchen and service team in the a la carte area and is the absolute satisfaction of your guests your top priority? And are you now looking for a new role in a premium gastronomic address where you can not only contribute your a la carte expertise, but also play a leading role in the forthcoming expansion of the new event management division with an adjoining event location and, if successful, take over the management?

In the Ostalbkreis region, the gourmet restaurant we represent is one of the established addresses for great craftsmanship, natural processing and preparation of food as well as for the modern interpretation of traditional Swabian dishes. The family business culture is characterized by appreciation, respect and trust. The range of services is complemented by the newly acquired event management division with an adjoining event location, which is set to expand rapidly and establish itself in the region as a valued address for high-quality events and functions in collaboration with our restaurant. We are looking for an experienced person with the background described above to manage the restaurant and dynamically expand the still young event management division.

TASK
In this position, you will have a wide range of tasks. On the one hand, you will manage our restaurant, take care of the motivation and further development of our employees and, with the support of your team of currently 15 people, ensure that the kitchen is organized optimally and smoothly at all times in compliance with occupational safety and hygiene regulations. On the other hand, you will be in charge of the upcoming expansion of the newly acquired event area including the event location. This includes the professional organization and implementation of events, the development of creative ideas, attractive offers and profitable concepts, the establishment and maintenance of cooperations with corporate customers, hotels and other partners, active participation in industry events and network meetings, the acquisition of new corporate and private customers, marketing and increasing awareness as well as cooperation with marketing and media.
This position is aimed at a dynamic personality with a hands-on mentality who enjoys bringing the creative scope of this wide-ranging role to life, playing a key role in shaping the forthcoming expansion of the event management area and managing both areas profitably from a business perspective and positioning them on the market in the long term. If successful, you will take over the management of the company.
