Our client, is seeking new talent on a permanent basis. This key leadership role is integral to shaping the strategic direction of the town planning function within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing and implementing strategic planning initiatives to support organisational objectives
• Overseeing town planning projects from conception to completion
• Managing a team of planning professionals and providing guidance and mentorship
• Liaising with stakeholders, including local authorities, developers, and community groups
• Ensuring compliance with relevant planning legislation and policies
• Reviewing and approving planning applications and proposals
• Representing the organisation at planning committee meetings and public inquiries
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships to drive business growth

Job Requirements:

• Extensive experience in town planning, with a strong understanding of planning legislation and processes
• Proven track record in managing complex planning projects and teams
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to interpret and present complex planning data and proposals
• Strong leadership qualities and the ability to inspire and motivate others
