Your tasks:
- Permanent deputy for the pedagogical and organizational management of a two-group learning room for children aged 8 to 14 years
- Designing the pedagogical concept and orientation in cooperation with the facility management
- Shaping relationships with the children and, building on this, their planned and individual educational, social and emotional support as well as intensive work with and advice for parents
- Managing integrative work and the corresponding support measures in collaboration with specialist services and cooperation partners
- Cooperation and networking with predecessor and follow-up facilities, in particular with schools and specialist youth welfare services as well as external representation of the facility of the municipal youth welfare office
Your profile:
- Completed vocational training as a state-recognized educator or comparable vocational training with recognition as a specialist or completed studies as a graduate social pedagogue or Bachelor of Social Work with state recognition or comparable degree with recognition as a specialist in a child day care facility
- Experience in working with children with special needs is desirable
- Counseling-specific or method-oriented additional qualifications and management experience are desirable
- Ability to work independently and in a structured manner, decisiveness and innovativeness as well as a basic understanding of participatory work in a team and with the children
- Enthusiasm for development and motivation to take on challenges, enjoy working with children and young people
- Intercultural competence and a gender-sensitive attitude as well as a respectful and boundary-observing attitude towards children and families
