Then come and join our global team as Intern (f/m/d) to get to know the Treasury – Trade Finance department.
Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- During your internship, you will be a member of our international Trade Finance Team within the Treasury function
- You will facilitate smooth and efficient handling of guaranty and letter of credit transactions within our global subsidiary network. Your daily tasks will include responding to requests from our international subsidiaries, reviewing and verifying those requests, clarifying open questions, and coordinating with our banking partners to ensure timely and accurate execution of the transactions
- You will participate in bank meetings and negotiations related to our credit facilities as well as in our regular bank performance reviews
- You will support us in the digitalization & automation of manual workflows and contribute to the continuous improvement of our existing tools and applications. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to learn and work with state-of-the-art techniques & tools
- You will have the opportunity to work on your own project together and in consultation with your supervisor that will enhance your practical skills and expertise as well as soft skills, including Project Management & Leadership. At the end of your internship, you will present your results to the Trade Finance team
- You will contribute to various special topics, such as knowledge management, process optimizations, internal social media & communication (depending on your interests and skills)

Your qualifications and experience:
- You are studying business, economics, IT or a similiar course in a bachelor or master program
- You have very good skills in Office365, knowledge of Power BI, Power Automation or similiar tools is an advantage
- Ideally you have acquired some professional experience before with internships, student part time jobs, work & travel etc., some international experience will support you integrating into our global team and setting
- A completed bank apprenticeship is also a plus
Your attributes and skills:
- You are fluent in English, German and other language skills are welcome
- You have genuine interest in Finance and Banking as well as for IT topics
- You are a quick learner, strong communicator and you are a proactive problem solver, who gets stuff done
