Über diesen Job

Our institute is one of the leading centres for clinically oriented immunological research. Our multidisciplinary team of biologists, data scientists, and physicians works closely together on current challenges in clinical immunology research, particularly in inflammatory arthritis. Through advanced in vivo imaging techniques, omics profiling and molecular biological modelling, we seek to unveil the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying disease resistance, remission, and relapse. Our specialization is the activation and reprogramming of fibroblasts in rheumatic diseases. Find out more about our research: CD200+ fibroblasts form a pro-resolving mesenchymal network in arthritis. Nature Immunology , 2024, https://doi.org/10.1038/s41590-024-01774-4 ( https://doi.org/10.1038/s41590-024-01774-4 ) Our lab is part of the newly formed DFG-funded Collaborative Research Center CRC/SFB 1755 CASCAID "Cellular and Systemic Control of Autoimmune Diseases".

We are seeking a motivated scientist (m/f/d) to join our wet lab team.

  • Creation of high-dimensional multi-omics datasets
  • Implementation of state-of-the-art methods into laboratory workflows
  • Study of fibroblast activation and reprogramming using sophisticated in vitro and in vivo model systems
  • Investigation of cellular cross-talk between fibroblasts and immune cells
  • Modeling of clinical findings through advanced experimental systems
  • Validation of data mining approaches using experimental model data
  • Communication of research strategies and date to the team and the international scientific community
