Then come and join our global team as Senior M&A Manager (m/f/d) for Post-Merger-Integrations- (PMI) and Carve-out projects and shape the future of Siemens Healthineers. In this role, you will take responsibility for global PMI and carve-out initiatives with direct impact on our business.
Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.
Even more flexibility? Mobile working from abroad is possible for up to 30 days a year under certain conditions and in selected countries.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Your main task will be to drive forward important strategic projects for Siemens Healthineers together with highly motivated colleagues from our Strategy and M&A department and our business units.
- You will take charge of international post-merger integration (PMI), carve-out, or transformation programs - either independently or in collaboration with operational business managers.
- As program manager, you will have overall responsibility for the project, ensure the coordination and smooth implementation of the subprojects, moderate workshops, and report regularly to management.
- You will ensure that strategic goals are achieved during the course of the project, identify risks and opportunities, and derive well-founded recommendations for action.
- Together with management, business units, and functions, you will ensure the consistent implementation of these measures.
- You will confidently manage and coordinate international, diverse project teams with team members from different units of our company, external experts, and/or consultants.
- Your responsibilities will include regular reporting to senior management.

Your qualifications and experience:
- You have a degree in economics or engineering or (business) informatics, ideally in combination with a PhD or MBA.
- You have many years of consulting experience with a focus on M&A, post-merger integration, carve-outs, or transformation—preferably at one of the Big 4 or a leading strategy consultancy.
- You have proven experience in leading large, complex programs and managing cross-functional, international teams.
- You have in-depth knowledge of project management and experience in managing large, complex projects, particularly in the areas of M&A, financial analysis, and operational integration.
- You bring broad IT knowledge in ERP, infrastructure, and applications that enables you to master upcoming challenges.
Your attributes and skills:
- You have a hands-on mentality and entrepreneurial spirit.
- You show initiative, take responsibility, think quickly, and have strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- As you will be working in an international environment, very good English skills are a must.
- German language skills are a plus.
- You are a talented communicator: you are able to convey complex ideas and issues clearly and convincingly, both verbally and in writing, and can present well to senior management.
- Your strong analytical and conceptual skills, combined with your ability to influence decisions at the highest level, set you apart.
- You are flexible and willing to travel worldwide to visit your partners on site as needed.
