We are growing rapidly in the areas of hardware integration, special solutions, IoT edge development, and system connectivity—and are looking for a Technical Service Employee for Parking Systems (m/f/d) in Erlangen . As a Technical Service Employee, you will contribute to our growth by commissioning new parking areas, configuring cameras and hardware, performing tests, analyzing monitoring reports, troubleshooting errors, and ensuring stable operation. The focus of your work will be in the office or in our technical hall. Here you will prepare systems for use, configure devices, analyze monitoring data, and solve technical problems. Field work will only be required for special solutions or in truly exceptional cases—we have our own team of technicians for regular on-site work.
Your tasks - what you do with us:
Commissioning & technical preparation
- Technical preparation of new parking areas: device configuration, firmware updates, functional testing.
- Setting up and fine-tuning camera systems (from inside the hall or remotely).
- Configuration of IoT modules, gateways, sensors, and other system components.
Monitoring, Analysis & Stability
- Analysis of monitoring data, system alerts, and status messages.
- Identifying error patterns and deriving appropriate improvement measures.
- Continuous quality control and support for system stabilization.
Fault diagnosis & technical problem solving
- Diagnosis and elimination of technical faults – primarily remotely or in the hall.
- Replacement, readjustment, or reconfiguration of hardware components.
- Close coordination with support, project, and integration teams in more complex cases.
Configuration & Documentation
- Maintenance of technical configurations in our systems.
- Careful documentation of all measures, adjustments, and findings.
- Helping to design standardized processes and workflows.
Spare parts management & material organization
- Ordering, managing, and inspecting spare parts and components.
- Preparation of technical sets for new parking areas.
- Ensure order, structure, and inventory security in the technical hall.
Your profile – what you should bring to the table
Ideally, you already have a background in technology (e.g., electronics technician/IT systems technician, mechatronics technician/information technology technician, service technician (video, alarm, access, vending machines), technical field service) or have similar skills. You should also have the following:
- Basic knowledge of hardware, electrical fundamentals, and networks.
- Skill in configuring, testing, and fine-tuning technical components.
- Safe handling of tools, laptops, measuring devices, and configuration software.
- Precise, structured, and clean working methods.
- Class B driver's license (for exceptional assignments).
- Analytical thinking, systematic troubleshooting.
- Hands-on mentality, interest in technology.
- Reliability and a sense of responsibility.
- Ability to work in a team, clear communication.
- Enjoyment in making systems stable and reliable in the long term.
