To start as soon as possible, full time, fixed term (6 months)
As an intern in the H2 Development Excellence team, you will act as a junior analyst supporting clearly defined strategic workstreams along the project development pipeline and work closely with cross‑functional teams. You will contribute fact‑based analyses and structured inputs that directly support decision‑making for hydrogen (H2) project development.
About the role
- Analysing, further developing and aligning strategic supplier contracting topics, including preparing analytical inputs and decision options for a regular strategic exchange on H2 projects with the procurement department.
- Analysing different partnership models and identifying potential strategic partners, including conducting structured assessments of business synergies, risks and value creation potential for RWE.
- Supporting and further developing the quarterly quantitative portfolio benchmarking, including data analysis, validation and methodological enhancement in close collaboration with senior team members.
Job requirements and experience
- Completed or advanced Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in business administration, finance, engineering or a related field.
- Practical experience in consulting, corporate strategy, transaction support or analytical project‑based environments.
- Very strong analytical and conceptual skills combined with a hypothesis‑driven, structured working style.
- High interest in strategic topics, economic assessments and end‑to‑end project development in complex organisational settings.
- Very good skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication skills and confidence when interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
Advantageous, but not essential
- Hands‑on experience with quantitative and data‑driven analysis.
