Your Tasks
- Lead the Strategy for the deployment of HOCHTIEF´s capabilities in the Defense Sector
- Establish and strategically develop partnerships with key public and private actors in the defense sector
- Lead the Defense Steering Committee at HOCHTIEF
- Identification of new market opportunities with a focus on Germany, complemented by HOCHTIEF's strategic defense markets in Europe
- Representation of the company to stakeholders, investors, partners and the public
- Responsibility for the analysis of procurement processes and tenders in the defense industry
- Responsibility for contract negotiations and completion of projects of strategic importance
- Responsibility for compliance with safety-relevant standards, compliance requirements and controls
- Collaboration with other relevant vertical departments and group companies
Your Profile
- Successfully completed studies, e.g. in the field of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, industrial engineering or comparable
- Successful long-term military career or comparable long-term professional experience in the defense sector
- Professional experience in the construction industry or in the construction-related sector
- Sound management experience (ideally as a managing director (m/f/d) or similar)
- Ideally, existing network in the public and private defense sector
- High degree of strategic thinking, negotiation skills and persuasiveness
- Strong communication skills and confident appearance
- Fluent in German and English
