We are seeking a Global Commodity Manager Electronics who is passionate about Global Strategic Sourcing and want to build a world-class global sourcing strategy.
About the role:
As The Global Commodity Manager you are responsible for developing and executing commodity strategies consistent with quality, delivery and cost objectives .You will be part of the Global Procurement Team and can be located in Delft, Fellbach or Kempten and are able to work hybrid mode (home office and offices at one of OTT HydroMet´s production plants). Up to 30% Travelling to be expected.
Ihre Aufgaben
In this role, you will:
- Conduct business reviews with strategic suppliers to discuss performance, development and growth opportunities.
- Implement, execute and sustain Supply Base Management
- Develop and drive a global sourcing/supply base strategy and related KPI’s(PPV, VAVE, DPO) to deliver best total cost of ownership to worldwide manufacturing sites.
- Independently develop and execute sourcing workshops at or across manufacturing sites.
- Research and provide market analysis on pricing trends that could affect costs
- Lead supplier relationship management, negotiations and contract management with team members to obtain Quality, Delivery and Cost objectives.
- Build internal strategic partnerships across the company business units including site operations, procurement, quality, commercial operations, and Corporate Procurement. Leverage those effective working relationships to meet or exceed YOY performance objectives.
Ihre Qualifikation
To be successful you will:
- Hold a BS Degree, and have 7 or more years of experience in Commodity Electronics (Operational / Strategic / NPI, direct material) and / or Supply Chain
- Proven experience in leading projects and negotiating with cross functional teams and subsidiaries
- Be a great teammate with strong customer orientation and ability to work in multinational and multicultural environment
- Be naturally analytical, highly interpersonal, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Fluent in English and German. Dutch language skills are a plus
