Job description
- You will be responsible for the comprehensive maintenance and updating of master data in the existing merchandise management and finance systems in order to ensure consistently high data quality
- In addition, you will be responsible for the careful entry of new data records and checking them for completeness and consistency with regard to the company's internal guidelines
- Furthermore, you will be responsible for the coordination and control of data entry processes, in particular in the preparation and follow-up of stocktaking until mid-January
- close cooperation with all specialist departments is also part of your tasks in order to quickly and effectively clarify any data inconsistencies that arise
- as part of your job, you will support the contact person in dealing with the Navision merchandise management system and assist in training new colleagues:
- Finally, you will be responsible for creating regular reports and evaluations on data quality and identifying optimisation potential in the existing workflows
Requirements
- You have completed a commercial apprenticeship as an office management assistant (m/f/d), industrial clerk (m/f/d) or warehouse logistics specialist (m/f/d)
- In addition, you have relevant professional experience in master data maintenance or in dealing with merchandise management systems, ideally in a trading company
- You are confident in the use of MS Office, especially Excel, as well as experience with a merchandise management system such as Navision characterise you
- Your German language skills at native speaker level in spoken and written as well as a good technical understanding of IT processes are mandatory
- Furthermore, you bring a high degree of care and reliability to ensure the very high data quality in the complex systems at all times
- Finally, you are a team-oriented personality and work in a structured and independent manner, even with a high workload in temporary project business
