For our client, a well-known international energy corporation, we are looking to fill the following position:

COMMISSIONING ENGINEER (M/W/D) SWITCHGEAR & PROTECTION TECHNOLOGY

• Actively contributing to the energy transition by successfully delivering HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) projects
• Performing hardware and software tests as part of a project team, including customer acceptance tests
• Responsible for the configuration, testing, and commissioning of field control devices for switchgear within HVDC systems
• Independently troubleshooting issues and supporting the software engineering teams
• Assisting the commissioning management in quality, risk, and claim management as well as in improvement initiatives

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Very good knowledge of commissioning field control devices, ideally the SIPROTEC 5 series using DIGSI 5
• Good knowledge of high-voltage and switchgear technology, as well as testing of interlocking logics and sequence controls
• Good English language skills
• Mobility and willingness to travel, with predominantly long-term assignments on construction sites in Germany and abroad
• Valid driver’s license
