Account Manager (m/w/d) Financial Services Description
We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our team in Frankfurt and lead the growth of our financial services client portfolio. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to clients and drive delivery excellence and sustainable growth.
You will oversee strategic initiatives, manage client relationships and shape solutions that help clients navigate the challenges and opportunities of the financial services industry.

- Act as the primary Account Manager for key financial services clients ensuring delivery, client satisfaction and growth
- Align with EPAM Account Managers to co-develop/support Account plans and strategies for delivery, growth and client satisfaction
- Serve as an expert Consultant leading Business Transformation/Product strategy and roadmaps
- Shape and scope complex solutions, develop engagement strategies and oversee delivery governance
- Oversee contract negotiations and manage pipeline forecasting to ensure predictable delivery and revenue flow
- Cultivate and expand senior client relationships maximizing opportunities within the client portfolio
- Contribute to EPAM’s business goals by achieving revenue and profitability targets within your accounts
- Stay informed about emerging technologies, industry trends and regulatory changes impacting clients’ business
Requirements
- +5 years of experience in strategic development and growth within the Financial Services industry or managing financial services client portfolios
- In-depth understanding of banking, financial services and capital markets including emerging technologies and business models
- Proven track record of managing complex enterprise-level client accounts in a consulting or IT services environment
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution adding value to clients while supporting delivery teams
- Strong experience managing and monitoring performance metrics across accounts
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills in both German and English
- Proven experience in consulting, strategy, team management and product or service delivery within financial services
- Network within the financial services and banking industry in Germany
- Ability to navigate complex engagements and deliver under pressure while maintaining client trust
