Job Description Summary
As a member of the BD Rowa Analytics Team, the Data Analytics & AI Specialist acts as a key interface between classical data analytics, machine learning, and generative AI.The role focuses on transforming Rowa data assets into advanced analytical, predictive, and AI-driven solutions, supporting strategic business initiatives across the BD Rowa platform.
A core aspect of this role is to bridge business-driven analytics use cases with ML and GenAI capabilities, ensuring solutions are scalable, explainable, and ready for operational deployment.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and analytical models from the operational data warehouse to reporting, predictive, and AI-enabled use cases
- Translate business requirements into analytics, machine learning, or GenAI use cases , working closely with business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders
- Collect, prepare, and model structured and unstructured data to enable:
- descriptive and diagnostic analytics
- predictive and prescriptive models
- GenAI-driven applications (e.g. copilots, assistants, summarization, classification)
- Develop, evaluate, and support machine learning models (e.g. classification, regression, clustering, forecasting) and contribute to their operationalization
- Support the integration of generative AI capabilities into analytics workflows (e.g. feature engineering, insight generation, natural language interfaces to data)
- Act as a trusted advisor for business stakeholders in identifying opportunities to leverage Rowa data assets using advanced analytics, ML, and GenAI
- Collaborate with data engineering, IT, and AI governance stakeholders to ensure robust, secure, and compliant AI solutions
Required Qualifications
- Solid understanding of data modeling, data structures, and analytical concepts
- Experience working at the intersection of data analytics and machine learning
- Practical knowledge of machine learning methods , such as:
- classification, regression, clustering, forecasting
- basic neural network concepts
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work in ambiguous, evolving problem spaces
- Collaborative, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in cross-functional and matrixed environments
- Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience in data analytics, data science, data engineering, or a related role
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, mathematics, statistics, data analytics, computer science, or operations research
- Experience with cloud-based data and analytics technologies (e.g. Azure, Spark, SQL-based data processing)
- Familiarity with data visualization and storytelling (e.g. Power BI)
- First hands-on exposure to generative AI concepts , such as:
- LLM-based applications
- prompt design and evaluation
- AI-assisted analytics or automation use cases
- Interest in evolving towards end-to-end AI-enabled analytics solutions , not purely reporting
For this role, we require a few days of in-office presence per week (50%/month).
