Your responsibilities:

• Support senior bankers in the execution of all projects and processes, including business development, equity and debt financings, M&A transactions, and other advisory mandates in the cleantech sector
• Analyze market data, build detailed financial models, and prepare client presentations for M&A and capital markets advisory engagements
• Interact with a broad range of companies in the cleantech sector with unique capital needs
• Manage due diligence processes, including oversight of commercial, financial, tax, and legal advisors
• Assist senior bankers in market approach efforts, including significant direct interaction with private equity firms, lenders, and strategic buyers
• Interact directly with client senior executive teams and take a leading role in deal organization, process tracking and due diligence

Your skills

• Relevant practical experience in M&A, corporate finance, private equity / venture capital, consulting or business / corporate development
• Top academic performer and quick learner who can thrive in an unstructured environment
• Proven accounting, finance, financial modeling and analytical skills
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with all levels of staff
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• High degree of initiative, independence and motivation
• Interest in sustainable businesses and understanding of relevant business models in the cleantech sector
• Business fluency in German and English (min. C1 level each)
• Confident use of MS Office, especially Excel and Power-Point
• Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
