Datacenter People is partnering with a leading European integrated power solutions manufacturer, a brand independent supplier of power systems for mission critical sectors including data center.
What The Job Involves
- Responsible for commissioning and testing complete emergency power systems—from engines and generators to switchgear and fuel systems.
- You ensure that every component operates in compliance with safety standards, technical specifications, and project requirements, guaranteeing a reliable and safe emergency power supply.
- Your decisions are based on technical data and clear guidelines, making you the ideal candidate for this structured and quality-driven role.
- Analyse technical issues and develop targeted solutions based on a logical and objective approach.
- Ensure that all emergency power systems comply with applicable standards and specific project requirements, working meticulously to ensure accuracy down to the smallest detail.
- You fully commission urea systems.
- You carefully document all test results and processes in detailed reports, ensuring clear documentation that meets project requirements and relevant standards.
We Are Looking For Someone With
- Master craftsman, technician, or engineer in the field of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Maritime Engineering.
- Working languages: German and English (conversational level).
- You live in the Frankfurt area or are willing to relocate.
- Willingness to participate in additional training courses.
- At least 3 years' of experience in testing and commissioning within wind farms, the oil and gas industry, mobile power solutions, or similar environments.
- Knowledge and experience in programming and modifying PLCs and ComAp systems.
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, preferably in engine technology and electrical engineering, with initial experience in emergency power systems or combined heat and power (CHP) plants.
- An analytical mindset and strong attention to detail. You understand that every technical detail matters and leave nothing to chance.
- Ability to work independently in a demanding environment, following clear guidelines and executing each step according to plan.
