As a Data Engineer - Data Platforms, you will develop, maintain, evaluate, and test data / AI solutions. You will be involved in data engineering activities like creating pipelines/workflows for Source to Target and implementing solutions that tackle the client’s needs.

Your primary responsibilities include:

• Stand up and operate cloud data / AI platforms (e.g. Databricks, Azure ML) with policies for security, access, backup/restore.
• Implement platform automation, cost controls, and environment management (dev/test/prod).
• Integrate platform telemetry into organization-wide monitoring and dashboards.
• Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines for AI training, validation, and inference use cases.
• Automate data refresh and quality checks; implement lineage and auditability.
• Collaborate on schema evolution, partitioning, cost/performance tuning.

• Strong fundamentals Computer Science
• Several years of experience in
• SQL, Python, Spark; Databricks notebooks/jobs; Delta Lake/Parquet.
• Data quality tooling, orchestration (e.g. ADF, Airflow), and secure data access patterns.
• Databricks administration, workspaces/jobs/compute; cloud IAM; network/security basics.
• Scripting (Python/Bash), IaC (Terraform/ARM or equivalent).
• Flexible and adaptable with an aptitude for quick learning and applying new technologies
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills able to liaise effectively with different team members
• You have strong technical and analytical abilities, and a knack for driving impact and growth
• You're great at solving problems by looking at things differently, debugging, troubleshooting, and designing & implementing solutions to complex technical issues.
• You thrive on teamwork and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent verbal and written German (C1 level) and English (B2 level) language skills
