Aufgabengebiet

• Development and execution of the organization's cybersecurity strategy, with a clear focus on protecting digital systems, networks, and infrastructure from cyber threats
• Continuous monitoring, maintenance, and enhancement of the IT cybersecurity systems to ensure resilience against cyberattacks
• Coordination and leadership of cybersecurity initiatives and projects, including threat prevention, detection, and response capabilities
• Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure adherence to cybersecurity standards, frameworks, and best practices
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements specific to cybersecurity in the financial services sector
• Management of cybersecurity team
• Evaluation and implementation of emerging technologies to strengthen cybersecurity posture and defense mechanisms
• Reporting to executive management on the organization's cybersecurity posture, risk landscape, and strategic initiatives

Anforderungsprofil

• Degree in Computer Science, IT Security / cybersecurity, or a related field
• Extensive experience in cybersecurity strategy, ideally in the financial services sector
• Proven experience leading cybersecurity teams
• Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in the financial industry
• Ability to design and implement modern, scalable security solutions
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent communication skills across technical and executive stakeholders
• Required technical expertise and depth in as many of these as possible: IAM (Okta / Delinea), DLP (Purview / Varonis), PAM (BeyondTrust, CyberArk), SIEM (Splunk), XDR (Microsoft Defender XDR, Azure Arc), Vulnerability Scanning
• Based in Frankfurt Region or is willing to move to Frankfurt
• Fluent English, German nice to have
