For our Fixed Income Special Solutions Team in Frankfurt we are looking to hire an:
Fixed Income Sales Trader*
Your role in the team
You contribute to the desk’s commercial performance by actively executing fixed income transactions and serving as a knowledgeable point of contact for clients. By closely monitoring market dynamics and macroeconomic signals, you provide informed insights that support client decision-making and trading strategies. You help strengthen long-term client relationships through continuous dialogue and market guidance, while also supporting the team with analytical input on pricing opportunities and handling essential operational tasks to ensure smooth daily desk operations.
What will you do?
- Trading for commission in all relevant fixed income segments
- Understand drivers of relevant markets and establish a high degree of competence with clients around executing trades
- Enhancing relationships with clients, providing advice on Fixed Income market developments and key issues that may affect their trading strategies
- Provide support analysis of economic, market trends and other financial data to identify undervalued and overvalued Fixed Income products
- Responsibility for day-to-day administration work on the desk
Who are we looking for?
- Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience, with a strong interest in financial markets, particularly fixed income
- Advanced IT skills, including proficient use of standard Office applications and Bloomberg
- High standards of reliability, integrity and honesty, demonstrated through accurate, fair and trustworthy work
- Respectful and collaborative team behavior, with a commitment to sharing information and promoting compliance, ethics and integrity within the business
- Strong attention to detail and resilience when working under pressure in volatile market environments
