Hi dear network, for a leading German banking group I'm looking for a Junior Fixed Income Trader (m/f/d) to join their Treasury Department in their Frankfurt office. Main responsibilities:
- Support senior traders in executing fixed income trades across various products, including bonds, interest rate derivatives, and other fixed income instruments.
- Monitor global financial markets, analyze trends, and provide insights to support trading decisions.
- Assist in managing risk positions and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with treasury teams to optimize liquidity management and funding strategies.
- Prepare daily reports on trading activities, P&L performance, and market developments.
- Continuously learn and stay updated on market dynamics, trading strategies, and new technologies.
Expected profile:
- A degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field with strong quantitative skills.
- First experience of trading in banking or financial institutions is a must.
- A keen interest in financial markets, particularly fixed income trading and treasury operations.
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities under pressure.
- Proficiency in Excel; knowledge of trading platforms or software is a plus.
- Fluent English is required; German language skills are an advantage but not mandatory. Ideally, with a B1-B2 German language certificate.
- A proactive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
