For our client, a leading IoT/RFID solutions provider with a strong engineering and product heritage, as well as clear ambitions for international growth, we are looking for a Head of Germany. The company develops AI-powered, industry-specific IoT solutions for sectors including construction, agriculture, livestock management, mining and retail.
The Head of Germany will be responsible for all the company's global commercial, operational and managerial activities.
This senior executive and strategic leadership position is based in Frankfurt, Germany, and carries full P&L responsibility for the firm's German entities, with a direct impact on its international growth agenda.
Tasks
- Define and implement a scaling-up strategy for Germany and selected EU markets.
- Build and manage a high-performing sales engine, including pipeline
generation, key account development, strategic partnerships, and deal
execution. - Establish and grow a distributor, reseller and channel ecosystem, including partner selection, enablement, joint business planning and performance management.
- Build and maintain long-term, sustainable relationships with global customers,
strategic partners, and public and private sector stakeholders. - Take ownership of revenue targets, pricing principles, gross margin, budgeting and forecasting, tracking performance through clear KPIs and dashboards.
- Oversee the implementation, integration and effective use of operational systems across global operations. Provide the board with regular, high-quality reports and actively contribute to strategic decision-making processes.
Requirements
- You will have at least eight to ten years' experience in international sales, business development or global operations management.
- A proven track record of building and scaling teams and commercial structures in growth environments is essential.
- Experience in both B2B and B2C markets would be advantageous. Experience in technology, IoT and AI is preferable.
- You will have proven experience in ERP system implementation,
customisation, integration and operational management, as well as strong
representation, negotiation and strategic thinking skills and a
results-oriented mindset. - Experience of working in multicultural and international environments.
- Fluency in German and advanced professional proficiency in English.
