Your mission
- Comprehensive risk measurement and modelling across all risk categories
- Development, refinement and validation of models and procedures for quantifying risks
- Systematic analysis and evaluation of the parameters and assumptions underlying the methods and procedures
- Contribution to the further development and implementation of appropriate risk measurement methods for credit, market, liquidity and operational risks
- Design, implementation and continuous refinement of methods, procedures and processes in risk management and risk control
- Support in strengthening the risk culture within the bank
Your profile
- A successfully completed degree in Physics or Mathematics, or equivalent education or further training
- Knowledge of statistical methods for validation purposes
- Knowledge of the requirements for the risk inventory process
- Strong methodological, conceptual, and analytical skills
- Several years professional experience in the financial sector
- Knowledge of risk assessment, measurement and management, as well as expertise in risk management and risk controlling.
- Professional experience in risk management at a financial institution or strong motivation to familiarise with this area of responsibility and acquire relevant knowledge.
- Experience in programming is advantageous.
- Strong IT skills and confident use of MS Office
- A very good level of English and at least a good level of German
