We are currently seeking an IT Risk Manager (f/m/d) to support one of our banking clients in Luxembourg. In this role, you will play a key part in strengthening the client's IT risk framework and ensuring transparency across all risk-related processes.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape and enhance risk governance within a highly regulated, international environment. You will collaborate closely with IT teams, subject matter experts and audit stakeholders to identify, assess and mitigate risks across systems, projects and operations. Your work will directly contribute to secure, resilient and compliant IT practices within the organisation.

Your responsibilities
- Manage the IT risk framework and related activities.
- Support IT teams and subject matter experts in risk management processes.
- Provide training and awareness sessions for risk champions and IT staff.
- Identify and evaluate individual risk items; maintain risk entries in the IT risk register.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation and remediation strategies.
- Deliver risk reporting to management forums and committees.
- Track and monitor internal and external audit items; ensure timely closure.
- Contribute to the internal control plan and perform control validations.
What we are looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or a related IT/compliance field.
- Solid understanding of IT risk management frameworks and processes.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint and JIRA.
- Analytical mindset with a high level of attention to detail.
- Fluency in English; German language skills are a plus.
- Ideally 1 year of relevant experience.

Working environment & contract
- Permanent contract
- Salary: 55.000 – 60.000 €/Jahr
- Location: Kirchberg, Luxembourg
