Specific tasks:

-Responsible for the development, operation and further development of applications (installation, configuration, monitoring) to achieve functional and technical business process requirements.

-Administration of Linux systems and platforms (web server, application server, container platforms, databases etc.) - Apache Tomcat web server, OpenShift

-Installation and configuration of new systems and landscapes for testing, evaluation or production

-Management of software licenses, instances, permissions, PKI, documentation, etc.

-Preparation, coordination and implementation of application releases (including bug fixes, major CRs, deployment, etc.)

-2nd/3rd level support through troubleshooting and error analysis, e.g.

-Performance and root cause analyses

-Log file analysis and bug fixing in close cooperation with the agile software development team

-Technical management and execution of an interface function between agile software development projects and the complex IT processes and guidelines of a large bank.

-Technical responsibility for tests and distribution of operative changes in coordination with development and quality assurance



General Tasks

Depending on the project, services in the following areas:

-Independent identification of new methods, procedures, sets of rules and tools, and applications (e.g. through Internet research, participation in webinars, reading or tool application, coordination with experts, etc.)

-Participation in tendering phases (e.g. through Internet research on topics relevant to tenders, participation in specialist tendering processes, etc.) documentation, etc.) e.g. support in preparing offers for customers by preparing calculation values and supplying technical components to the bid team in the context of tenders

-Concept development for analysis and design topics (e.g. rough concept, detailed concept) e.g. independent analysis of possible optimizations, analysis of technical requirements regarding customer-specific hardware and software requirements. Conception and calculation of solutions for SW solutions (e.g. web or backend developments).

-Analysis and design of system or software solution architectures, e.g. in the area of web or backend solutions.

-Responsible for the preparation of cost estimates and calculation bases (e.g. by supplying estimated values for a module or a subcomponent or, if necessary, technical support in the Rainbow process)

-Creation of technical test cases or execution of tests (e.g. within the framework of the development phase of UNIT tests, regression tests on the basis of criteria defined jointly with the customer)

-Supporting activities in the preparation of quality assurance or acceptance concepts (e.g. by preparing individual chapters)

-Conception and implementation of quality assurance measures

-Creation and maintenance of technical documentation (e.g. user manual, programming guidelines, SOHB) in several task areas

-Responsible for the implementation of customer workshops, e.g. creation and holding of presentations, moderation, implementation of PoC (Proof of Concept)

-Communication with the customer's specialist departments (e.g. holding regular meetings, coordination of requirements, if necessary 3-rd level support or technical coordination with manufacturers and suppliers)

-Technical support of customers and/or employees through simple knowledge transfer (e.g. explanation of a new technical component), through targeted coaching of individuals (e.g. familiarisation and accompaniment of a new team member in a task area) or through training for a group (e.g. holding a user training course).

-Identification of optimization needs in the project or area of responsibility and participation in implementation (e.g. process optimization, cost-saving measures)

-Independent (partial) project management

Requirements

-Successfully completed studies in a relevant field of study or comparable training

-Professional experience of at least 5 years

-Experience in Linux system administration (Linux)

-Extensive know-how in the areas of web and application servers as well as databases, Java application servers, JavaScript and Angular

-Scripting skills

-Experience as a Web Developer desirable

-Good knowledge of agile process models and continuous integration self-responsibility and proactive approach, pronounced independence, analytical skills, customer- and solution-oriented appearance and personal initiative

-Readiness to work up to 5 days per week on site at the customer's location

-Fluent in German (min. C1) and English (min. B2)
