M Core owns over 1,000 properties across Europe with a value of over 8.5 billion euros.

For our team in Frankfurt am Main, we are looking for a technically skilled person who can reliably manage our properties on a day-to-day basis and at the same time drive forward modernization and maintenance measures in a structured manner. It’s important to us that you don’t have to be able to do everything; the decisive factors are a solid technical foundation, clean organization and the willingness to take on responsibility.

Your tasks

• Technical property management with inspections, condition analyses and measures to maintain value
• Planning, control and budget/schedule tracking of maintenance, repairs and CAPEX
• Technical responsibility for defined properties/sub-portfolios, including implementation in line with economic, deadline and quality requirements
• Tendering, awarding, management and acceptance of external services including documentation
• Close cooperation with asset management and property management as well as management of external service providers
• Ensuring operator obligations including inspection, maintenance and defect management
• Technical support for letting and portfolio measures (conversions, handovers)
• Reporting, action tracking and warranty and defect management in projects

What you bring with you

• Completed technical training with further training (master craftsman/technician) or technical studies (e.g. civil engineering, supply engineering/building services engineering, facility management or comparable)
• Practical experience in the technical management of commercial properties, in facility/property management or in construction/project management
• Cost and quality awareness as well as a structured, reliable way of working
• Strong communication skills and professional demeanor in dealing with service providers, tenants, owners and authorities
• Very good written and spoken German; good command of English for working in an international environment
• Confident handling of MS Office (especially Excel/Word)
• Willingness to travel within Germany and a class B driving license

This would be an advantage

• Knowledge of VOB/HOAI, contract and supplement management
• Experience with CAFM, ticketing and defect tools
• Know-how in energy efficiency/ESG (e.g. HVAC, lighting, PV)
• Experience with CapEx programs, refurbishments and tenant conversions
