What we offer
Gain extensive insights in the IT functions of an international company at various sites in Germany and other non-European countries over a period of 18 months, working under the mentorship of experienced executives in our IT community of approx. 800 IT specialists. Advance your technical and methodological skills on the job and in off-the-job workshops and seminars. Our Trainee Program offers an entry option to an IT management career in the Evonik Group.
An assessment center for final candidate selection is scheduled for calendar week 27 of 2020 in Essen and will largely be held in German.
Our Trainee Program will start on October 1, 2020.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- As a participant in our Trainee Program, you will be assigned to IT functions of Evonik Industries AG to familiarize yourself with their full bandwidth, ranging from demand IT, IT products and delivery IT to the work done in Digital Labs
- Learn about the strategic side of our IT in addition to obtaining insights into the operating business
- Support management with business planning, steering and analysis and participate in defining strategic goals
- Play an active role in preparing management reports and board proposals
- Take over independent tasks within strategic IT projects after a short time
- Gain an in-depth understanding of the company and build a Group-wide, international network based on assignments to different sites, business areas and corporate units
REQUIREMENTS
- Business degree (bachelor’s or master’s level) with an IT component and above-average grades
