Our client is an international very renommated bank.
Aufgabengebiet
* Provide senior level Compliance Advisory coverage to and act as a primary Compliance contact person for queries, notifications, approvals etc. for business functions, including sales and trading, capital markets, treasury, corporate relationship management and corporate banking
* Strengthen the Conduct Compliance framework, with primary responsibility for MiFID/MAR/integrity matters
* Provide Compliance guidance and support to the business functions on front office policies and procedures and prepare appropriate adjustments, amendments and/or new policies and procedures in close coordination with relevant international stakeholders
* Prepare and provide Compliance training and standardized communications to the front office teams, including ad-hoc trainings, announcements of new policies and procedures, updates on regulatory developments, new joiner Compliance trainings, etc.
* Contribute to Compliance surveillance, monitoring and control measures and identify areas where adjustments to the Compliance framework might be appropriate
* Serve as a senior representative of the Compliance function for senior Business Management and at business governance committees, for example regarding MiFiD best execution, algorithmic trading, etc.
* Join and/or lead larger projects and provide appropriate Compliance advice to stakeholders on key business and/or strategic initiatives
* Identify key risks and weaknesses and propose appropriate measures to mitigate those risks and contribute to the preparation of Compliance risk assessments
* Represent the Compliance Advisory function in internal and external audit reviews and provide relevant and concise information around the Compliance framework to other external stakeholders
* Prepare relevant notificationsofsuspiciousactivitiestotheMLROand senior Compliancemanagement
* Prepare regular management reports and status updates about issues raised with the Compliance advisory function.
* Maintain clear and open communications with the business functions, senior management and corporate functions in the group
Anforderungsprofil
* 5+ years of professional experience with a focus on Compliance advisory and conduct Compliance related matters in financial institutions or equivalent experience in a regulated industry
* Very good knowledge of national regulatory requirements for Banks and Investment Firms, in particular with a focus on capital markets / securities trading related rules like MiFiD, MAR, EMIR, SFTR, etc.
* Very good communication skills and ability to interact successfully in a dynamic international environment
* Very good analytical skills
* Fluency/proficiency in English, both verbal and written and one additional language, either Dutch, German, Japanese or French.
* Successful University level education, preferably in law, business management or economics.
* Additional Compliance certification is a plus (ACAMS, CCP, etc.)
