- Raw Material Policy: We support producing countries to develop their mining sectors responsibly and help users to reconcile supply security with ESG goals.
- Mineral Supply Chains: We connect and optimise mineral supply chains to ensure traceability, compliance and responsible sourcing.
- Mining & Environment: We work with governments, communities and mining companies on improving environmental management and monitoring.
Your tasks
- Collaboration on projects promoting sustainable raw material supply chains and responsible mining practices in Africa
- Research activities in the form of literature reviews and expert interviews related to environmental due diligence, environmental management for artisanal and small-scale mining (ASM) or mine closure
- Support to project acquisition for projects for public and private clients in francophone and Eastern Africa
Your profile
- Degree in geosciences/environmental sciences/economics/social sciences or a comparable field
- Excellent written English and very good French language skills; good knowledge of German is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of ESG issues, sustainability in supply chains, sustainable supply chains, mining, environmental or raw materials policy
- An interest in or connection to Africa is highly welcome
- Good analytical thinking, strong organisational and communication skills
- Initiative, motivation, reliability, solution-oriented and systematic approach to work
