In your internship at a globally leading medical technology company , you’ll be right in the middle of the action : you will support our navigated spinal and cranial surgery team in innovative projects , deepen your expertise , and gain practical experience that will help you grow both professionally and personally .

Our offer to you

  • We are offering an internship in Interactive Guidance for Navigated Spinal Surgery

  • You will have the opportunity to develop prototypes for our Navigation System and support our team with your proof-of-concept application.

  • You will be an active member of our international and interdisciplinary research and development team .

  • You will implement your solution using C++ or Python and Matlab and evaluate it in an ecosystem consisting of state-of-the-art navigation and imaging systems.

That makes you stand out

  • You are studying for a master’s degree in informatics, computer science, medical engineering, mathematics, physics or a comparable subject.

  • You have experience with object-oriented programming languages ( e.g. C++), script languages ( e.g. Python, Matlab ) or libraries (OpenCV, VTK, Qt, DCMTK).

  • You want to tackle challenging problems in medical engineering.

  • You are known among friends and fellow students for your initiative and flexibility .

  • You have a good command of English.

  • You work independently , are highly motivated and committed , and are prepared to take on responsibility quickly .

: We offer voluntary internships alongside your studies, compulsory internships/practical semesters, and a combination of both

Pay rate will not be below any applicable local minimum wage rates.
