Job description
- You will be responsible for the planning and organisation of freight and transport
- You will be in charge of communicating with external freight forwarders
- You will be responsible for drawing up supplier and acceptance contracts
- Selling full loads (no partial loads) via freight exchanges and preparing shipping and accompanying documents
- You will be responsible for and accompanying documents
- You are responsible for costing and preparing quotations as well as monitoring and controlling delivery dates
- You are responsible for customer advice and support
- You manage factual and technical communication within the team and with partners
Requirements
- You have completed training as a forwarding agent (m/f/d), industrial clerk (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
- you have experience in freight forwarding and logistics
- you have experience in general cargo planning as well as the organisation and planning of freight
- you are confident in using MS Office and in dealing with freight exchanges (sale and purchase of freight)
- you have a good command of written and spoken German, other languages are an advantage
- strong negotiating skills, reliability, team spirit and a precise way of working round off your profile
