Our client is looking for a Configuration Manager to join the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) team . In this role, you'll ensure product data and documentation are structured, maintained, and controlled across the entire product lifecycle - from development to production and maintenance.
Requirements:- 4+ years of experience in configuration management or related fields
- Proven experience in identifying innovative technologies for PLM sysems
- Strong knowledge of Teamcenter or PTC Creo in a PLM environment
- Fluent in English; German is a strong advantage
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement configuration management processes (ISO 10007, EIA-649)
- Maintain product configuration baselines across all lifecycle stages
- Manage product data using PLM tools like Teamcenter or PTC Creo
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Production, and Procurement teams
- Control release and revision of technical documentation (drawings, BOMs, specs)
- Support audits with traceability and documentation of configuration items
- Train internal teams on CM tools and procedures
- Drive process improvements for data accuracy and lifecycle traceability
