Tasks :
- Backfill day-to-day responsibilities for the hiring manager during the project.
- Execute assigned Workday Compensation testing activities according to project timelines and priorities.
- Set up, maintain, and validate test data for compensation cycles (Merit, Bonus, and Stock).
- Perform regression, functional, and UAT testing for configuration updates and releases.
- Accurately document test results and provide detailed evidence for review and sign-off.
- Identify and log defects; partner with developers or analysts to resolve issues.
- Support BAU compensation tickets and troubleshoot configuration or data-related issues.
- Collaborate with HR Technology, Compensation COE, and cross-functional teams to ensure testing coverage and readiness.
- Communicate test progress, blockers, and outcomes clearly to the Testing Lead.
Qualification:
- 5+ years of Workday experience with focus on Advanced and Core Compensation.
- Experience testing Compensation processes (Merit, Bonus, or Stock) end-to-end.
- Strong understanding of eligibility rules, calculated fields, and condition logic.
- Experience creating and executing test scripts and documenting results.
- Strong problem-solving, organization, and communication skills.
Proficiency with Excel, Smartsheet, or similar testing and tracking tools.
- Nice to Have:
- Experience supporting regression or release testing cycles.
- Familiarity with EIBs, reporting validation, or Workday Security.
- Prior experience supporting Compensation in a global organization.
- Workday Advanced Compensation Certification (preferred).
