Project & Marketing Operations – Working Student / Intern

iO Associates are supporting an innovative organisation on a mission to transform modern agriculture by reducing reliance on herbicides. They design and deploy autonomous field‑robotics systems capable of identifying crops, detecting weeds using computer vision, and removing them mechanically, all without chemicals. The team brings together specialists in software, electronics, mechanical engineering, and product design, working closely with farmers to deliver real‑world impact.

Location: Garching

Start Date: 1st February 2026

Day to Day:

• A fast‑moving startup environment with real ownership and influence
• Insight into how agricultural technology is developed, marketed, and deployed
• A varied role spanning project coordination, marketing, and customer engagement
• Travel opportunities to farms and partner sites across Europe
• The chance to contribute directly to more sustainable food production
• Support project management activities across technical and commercial workstreams
• Create marketing content for websites, social media, and customer communications
• Assist with customer inquiries and day‑to‑day communication
• Organise demos, customer appointments, and on‑site activities
• Occasionally participate in field deployments to understand the product in context

Your Profile:

• Currently enrolled in a degree in business administration, management, communications, marketing, or a related field
• Experience with agile working methods such as Scrum or Kanban
• Fluent in German and English
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative working style
• Class B driving licence (additional licences are an advantage)
• Interest in technology, sustainability, or agricultural innovation

Nice to Have:

• Experience with social media or online marketing
• Exposure to hardware projects or technical products
• Content creation skills (writing, photography, video)
