What you’ll do:

We are seeking a dynamic individual, highly motivated, and experienced Senior Cloud Native Developer to join our team in CX Commerce Cloud. This role will involve close collaboration with various team members across functional groups within the Commerce Cloud. This role offers the opportunity to work with leading-edge technologies like Microfrontends and Kubernetes and utilize AI tools to support you. The position requires technical expertise in software development using microservices, Java/Spring Boot, building REST APIs, event-driven architecture, hyperscalers, databases, UI web component development, and handling production issues and complex customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement cloud-native commerce services and APIs (microservices, event-driven components, serverless when appropriate).

• Collaborate with architects and product managers on solution designs, tradeoffs, and implementation roadmaps.

• Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and release automation to enable rapid, safe delivery.

• Design, code, test, maintain, and ensure the quality of complex large-scale enterprise software products.

• Work with teams across different time zones in an international, diverse environment.

• Promote the adoption of AI-native development workflows and continuously improve development processes and –efficiency.

• Act as a gatekeeper for code quality and security compliance.

• Mentor and coach engineers.

• Perform code reviews and help establish engineering standards and patterns.

What you bring:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• 5+ years experience in building production-ready, cloud-native applications (or equivalent experience).

• Knowledge and experience in Backend and Frontend technologies and architectures.

• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.

• Experience with Javascript/Node JS and related concepts and frameworks like Angular.

• Experience in developing cloud-based applications on hyperscalers (e.g., GCP, Azure, AWS).

• CI/CD and automation experience (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar).

• Strong testing practices: unit, integration, contract, and end-to-end testing.

• Knowledge of Kubernetes is a plus.

• Familiarity with SAP technologies including SAP CAP, SAP HANA Cloud, and SAP BTP is a plus.

• Experience building or integrating AI-driven features into enterprise applications is a plus.

• Excellent communication skills to help the team in customer interaction and to create documentation in collaboration with our tech writers.

• Fluent English language skills (both verbal and written)
