Senior Communications Generalist (gn)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Communications Generalist (gn) to join our team in Garching (near Munich).

In this dynamic and collaborative role, you will drive internal communication efforts and support external communication initiatives to ensure consistent, engaging and effective messaging across the organization. We’re looking for someone who brings experience, energy, and a passion for communications – whether your background is in internal comms, change communication, financial communication, or another communications discipline. Your Responsibilities

• Drive internal communication strategy, initiatives and campaigns
• Develop and implement change management plans
• Support executive communications, including messaging for leadership and town halls
• Contribute to external communication efforts, including financial reporting
• Create compelling content across channels – from intranet to social media
• Collaborate with departments to ensure message alignment
• Support crisis and change communication planning
• Oversee governance and best practices for internal communications channels

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications or related field
• 5+ years of experience in communications
• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills
• Experience with internal communication strategy and employee engagement
• Familiarity with digital communication platforms
• Collaboration and stakeholder management
• Project coordination incl. event planning and execution
• Fluent in English and German (written and spoken), other languages are a plus
