About the team:

SAP’s Performance and Scalability team, a diverse group of experts committed to delivering advanced performance solutions. From performance benchmarking to architecture reviews and troubleshooting, the team provides a dynamic, collaborative environment that supports continuous learning and development. As a Performance Expert, you’ll work closely with developers, performance engineers, and consultants to push the boundaries of cloud performance for SAP systems.

Work Area: ​ Software-Design and Development ​
Location: Munich (No office presence necessary)
Expected start date: 1st of October, 2025

In this role, you’ll:

• Conduct large scale data analysis on performance tests automation metrics, identifying patterns and bottlenecks that can inform development priorities and strategies with a focus on S/4HANA

The ideal candidate will have a background in performance observability, and data analysis. This role requires proficiency in using Data Analysis tools and programming

Who you are:

You are a student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences. We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

• Educational Background: Degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or a related technical field.

• Fluent in English and German (mandatory).

• Data Analysis Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct large-scale data analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for performance improvements.

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.

Note for Germany: currently the SAP Internship Experience Program is only open to interns and being hired into other contract types such as working students will preclude the candidate's participation in the program.
