What you´ll build

Join SAP’s Cross Cloud & Data Engineering team and help shape how we understand, operate, and innovate in the cloud. We’re on a mission to make SAP’s cloud infrastructure smarter and more transparent through data-driven insights and strong data governance.

As part of our Data Management Program, you’ll contribute to building the foundation that enables thousands of engineers and decision-makers to work with data more efficiently and collaboratively.

What You’ll Do
As a working student f/m/d), you’ll be at the heart of this transformation by:

• Keeping us agile: Facilitate agile ceremonies and maintain the Jira board to ensure projects run smoothly
• Driving data excellence: Support the rollout of data governance practices that improve how teams manage and share data
• Connecting the dots: Coordinate stakeholder communication and align efforts across diverse departments
• Telling the story: Create engaging updates — from newsletters and blog posts to presentations — that showcase our progress and impact
• Building bridges: Establish communication channels that foster collaboration, innovation, and transparency across teams
• Leverage AI: Learn to implement AI and advance your AI skills in the real business world to boost our project outcomes

Your work will directly shape how SAP’s cloud operations function — increasing transparency, accountability, and efficiency across global teams. By helping data flow to where it’s needed most, you’ll empower others to make better decisions, reduce complexity, and improve data accessibility across our entire cloud landscape.

What you bring

• Enrolled as a student (f/m/d) at a university or university of applied sciences
• Preferred fields of study: (Digital) Business Studies, International Management, Computer or Data Science, Business Informatics, or a related discipline
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Jira, and SharePoint, ideally first experiences with AI like ChatGpt
• Fluent in English (German proficiency is an advantage)
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
• Creative thinker with the confidence to propose innovative ideas
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams
• Willingness to work from the office one day per week (Walldorf/St/Leon Rot/Dresden)

Where you belong

Our department, Global Cloud Infrastructure & Delivery (GCID), designs and operates SAP’s global cloud infrastructure services. Within GCID, the Cross Cloud & Data Engineering (CCDE) organization drives innovation through analytics, automation, and data-driven decision-making.

You will contribute to the Data Management Program, an initiative that spans multiple CCDE and GCID teams. Hosted by the Infrastructure Data Intelligence team, this role focuses on improving how data is governed, accessed, and used across SAP’s cloud operations—helping teams collaborate more effectively and make smarter, faster decisions.

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
