Advanced Supplier Quality Engineer (m/w/x)

Your Tasks:

• Participation and support on risk analysis for complex components; Evaluation of component feasibility analysis of suppliers
• Planning, execution and tracking of APQP processes of purchase components from the component-design up to the serial release in the production plant; evaluation and approval of the PPAP/PPF of components incl. run@rate at supplier
• Updating, tracking, coordinating, and documenting the APQP status of components, e.g., for project managers, project reviews, reporting, slow/fast builds, etc., as well as escalation if necessary.
• Structured root-cause analysis in case of deviations, including structured problem solving and follow-ups;
• Compliance with the Webasto product development process (PEP) and the relevant ASQE tasks

Your Qualifications:

• Technician or degree in engineering with additional qualification, e.g. Q-Manager, AIAG, VDA; Certified VDA 6.3 Auditor appreciated
• Sound and practical knowledge of production and project management -techniques and –processes by work experience
• Experience with supplier quality processes; Experience in applying Q-methods (APQP, FMEA, MSA, PPAP, SPC, etc.…)
• Good knowledge of Standards and OE customer requirements as well as component- and tolerance requirements
• Very high English skill level, communication- and mediating skills; Willingness to travel
