What you’ll do:

• Manage the full cycle of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment runs, customer billing, and cash applications.
• Reconcile vendor and customer accounts, resolving discrepancies and maintaining accurate records.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
• Maintain and update the general ledger in accordance with accounting standards and internal policies.
• Prepare financial statements, and analysis as needed by management.
• Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring timely collection and payment processing.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to resolve accounting and billing queries.
• Assist with audits, provide supporting documentation and responding to inquiries.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and financial controls.
• Demonstrated strong communication skills when working with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to resolve billing and payment inquiries.

What you’ll bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on accounting experience covering AP, AR, and general accounting responsibilities.
• Fluency in German and English (written and spoken) required; French is an asset.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., JD Edwards, Oracle, SAP) and Microsoft Excel is must.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience in an international or multicultural environment preferred.
