Job Title: Trade Operations Analyst at Leading Commodities Trading Company

The Role
A high‑impact role supporting trading activity across futures, options and OTC markets. Sitting close to the desk, you'll analyse positions, investigate P&L drivers, manage lifecycle events, and ensure accurate trade capture and reconciliation across global exchanges.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage futures, options and OTC transactions across global markets
• Provide real‑time desk support: resolve trade breaks, position discrepancies, unexpected P&L movements
• Analyse trading activity, spreads and lifecycle events (exercises, assignments, resets)
• Oversee confirmations, amendments and lifecycle management for brokered and OTC trades
• Use platforms such as CME Direct, WebICE, Trayport and TT
• Support margin calculations, complex strategies and settlements
• Identify process improvements within trading operations

What We're Looking For

• Strong experience in trade operations across power/gas/commodities (Particularly Freight & Agri)/FX futures & options
• Deep understanding of derivatives behaviour, spreads and P&L drivers
• Familiarity with major global exchanges and clearing operations
• Confident working directly with traders in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong Excel ability and data‑analysis mindset
